Many institutes offers correspondence courses in drug store management, Pharma marketing, Material management etc. Online education helps to bring all sectors of pharmacy under one roof to educate the public as a whole. Systems adopted by various countries with respect to medication, like methods of dispensing, clinical pharmacy services, drug information with respect to various products, side effects and adverse drug reactions of various medications, methods to take medicinal products (Internally) method of usage of medicinal products, patient counseling, OTC drugs, dosage of drugs and various other parameters related to medication can be correlated online. People in the pharmacy profession can interact with various portals online to get an effective solution of various medications that have been prescribed for patients. Various discussion and chat forums increases the spirit of enquiry and curiosity. Above all there is a feeling of freedom that normally lacks in class room teaching. New pharmacy courses for 30 to 40 hours can be started online and the certificate for the same can be issued. Population is doubling at logarithmic rate and the requirement/ demand of pharmacy professional are very high, but not able to provide the requirements. If we could make it in a capsule mode and deliver the same to the public, it will be more effective. A NEW DAWN...

A new dawn,

I wake up as usual
yetanother dull and empty day.
the day is so humid,
the birds are not chirping,
the beautiful sunrise, pretty dewdrops on flowers,
melodious songs of birds, all are missing........

Its a hard day for me
my good friends are parting.....
many are out in search of greener pastures..
I consider teaching as noble profession
my passion for teaching is unimaginable...
because of which i live a life like this...

Many things left unanswered in my life
My good students have gone...
My good old friends have gone..
My good olden days have gone
My golden dreams shattered..
people are wandering throughout the web of life..
something strange hurting me badly..
in this corner of my room, Still i feel safe... ...
I can see the ray of hope outside, shining brighter and brighter.. ..
parting is the part of life and the change is inevitable. ..............

Iam waiting for a new season with cheerful colours to come by,
Iam waitng for a new dawn...A pleasant dawn with beautiful sunrise, melodious songs of birds and colorful flowers everywhere and the everglowing dewdrops on it.
This is the law of life, This is the web of life..

swine flu, H1,N1 flu, swine flu in india

Swine flu ?

Swine influenza (also pig flu) is an infection by any one of several types of swine influenza virus
Swine influenza virus (SIV) is any strain of the influenza family of viruses that is endemic in pigs

Swine flu symptoms?

. It's caused by a new swine flu virus that has changed in ways that allow it to spread from person to person -- and it's happening among people who haven't had any contact with pigs.
the virus is "novel influenza A (H1N1) virus" and the World Health Organization calls it "pandemic (H1N1) 2009." The CDC calls swine flu illness "H1N1 flu" and the World Health Organization calls it "pandemic influenza A (H1N1)."

Symptoms of swine flu include

fever, cough, sore throat
, runny nose, body aches, headache chills, and fatigue. diarrhea and vomiting. Nearly everyone with flu has at least two of these symptoms. But these symptoms can also be caused by many other conditions.

Directly from droplets from the cough or sneeze of an infected person, or by touching an object they recently touched, and then touching your eyes, mouth, or nose, delivering their germs for your own infection.
The swine flu virus can become airborne if you cough or sneeze without covering your nose and mouth, sending germs into the air. The new swine flu virus is a human virus spread by people and not by pigs. The only way to get the new swine flu is from another person.

Pandemic swine flu virus is sensitive to the antiviral drugs TAMIFLU oseltamivir) or Relenza (zanamivir). the drugs are most effective when taken within 48 hours of the start of flu symptoms.
method of prevention ( precautions)

· Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, especially after coughing or sneezing. Or use an alcohol-based hand cleaner if soap and water are not available.

· Avoid close contact -- that is, being within 6 feet -- with people who have flu-like symptoms.

· Avoid touching your mouth, nose, or eyes. That's not easy to do, so keep those hands clean.

· If you have flu-like symptoms -- fever plus at least cough or sore throat or other flu symptoms -- stay home for seven days after symptoms begin or until you've been symptom-free for 24 hours -- whichever is longer.

· Wear a face mask if you must come into close contact with a sick person. "Close contact" means within 6 feet. Note: There is no definitive proof that a face mask prevents flu transmission. Do not rely solely on a face mask to prevent infection.

PEACE

Peace

There are only two forces in the world. The sword and the spirit. In the long run the sword will always be conquered by the spirit. The great warrior napoleon Bonaparte’s words remind us once again the importance of peace and good will.
Peace is a word, concept that is becoming a rarity in many parts of the world today. Peace initiates harmony and understanding for each other. This gives an opportunity to make peace in ones relationships as well as impact the larger conflicts of our time. The effort by all those working towards maintaining and ushering in peace and communal harmony should be aimed at empowering peace and communal harmony by enlightening individual lives. Only then the indifferences of caste, creed and economic difference can be banished. And this bring to the mind the words of Winston Churchill—if the human race wishes to have a prolonged and indefinite period of material prosperity, they have only got to behave in a peaceful and helpful way toward one another. Let us pledge to do more, where ever we are in whatever way we can, to make everyday a day of peace.
